Lithuanian M/37-62 Helmet w/ Amoeba Cover

Lithuanian M/37-62 Helmet w/ Amoeba Cover

Here is a Lithuanian used M/37-62 helmet with a locally produced "Amoeba" cover.

According to Camopedia, Lithuania used two different variants of the "Amoeba" camo pattern, this example matching closer to the later version used by the Border Guards of the Interior Ministry. When Lithuania gained independence from the Soviet Union, gear was obtained from other European countries, the main helmet obtained was the Swedish M/37-62 helmet & M1.

These "Amoeba" covers were not officially produced and were locally or barracks made, according to my friend who served 25 years in the Lithuanian Armed Forces. So therefor going off reference photos there are some variations in these covers.
