Here is a typical Canadian Infantry uniform & equipment dating from the mid-60s up to the late 90s.
This combat uniform was introduced in 1963, it was slightly modified over the years until replaced by the CADPAT uniform (late 1990s). Note the bush cap & field dressing.
The Canadian Web Equipment 1964 Pattern was made of canvas, velcro & plastic components. Note the early model of gas mask pouch.
This webbing did not include ammo pouches! Instead the combat shirt & jacket pocket's were designed to carry 6 X 20 rounds (7.62mm) FN C1 magazines.
On the left side is the gas mask pouch, at the far right, the hand grenade pouch.
The M1 helmet & cover are of American origin, the bayonet is the C1 for the FN C1 rifle adopted in 1953.
